How many people can stay?

Pipinui Point sleeps up to four guests across two bedrooms, with one bathroom. Rates are based on two guests, with an additional charge per person for a third and fourth guest.

Do you allow children at Pipinui Point?

Due to our remote, clifftop location, guests' children must be 12 years or older for health and safety reasons.

Do you allow pets?

Unfortunately not. As a working farm, and with kiwi now being reintroduced to the surrounding hills through the Capital Kiwi project, we're unable to accommodate pets, in order to protect the wildlife and livestock that share this land.

What time is check in and check out?

Check in is from 3pm and check out is by 11am. Where possible, we'll try to accommodate alternate timings. Groups of four are kindly asked to depart by 10.30am to allow our team time to change over.

How many nights should we stay?

We recommend you stay for at least two or three nights. This allows you plenty of time to explore the surrounding property and make the most of the unique experiences. Note: we have a two-night minimum over weekends, and an additional $100 charge for single-night bookings.

Is Pipinui Point suitable for a wedding or special occasion?

Yes. Pipinui Point is a short walk from Boomrock, one of the region's most beautiful wedding venues, making it an ideal base for bridal parties to get ready or for newlyweds to begin their honeymoon. It's also a popular choice for anniversaries and milestone celebrations.

Yes. A clifftop outdoor hot tub with uninterrupted views over the Tasman Sea, and one of the most memorable spots to watch the sunset.

Yes, there is both mobile reception and free Wi-Fi.

What should we bring?

Very little. We've taken care of the essentials so you can simply arrive and unwind. For comfort, bring warm layers and sturdy shoes for exploring, swimwear for the hot tub, and any lunch or dinner you'd like if self-catering.

Is the accommodation accessible?

There is a short gravel path with a gentle rise between the parking area and the entrance. If you have specific accessibility needs, please get in touch. We're happy to talk through the details and help however we can.

No. The road to Pipinui Point is accessible by standard two-wheel-drive vehicles, so any car will get you here comfortably.

Yes, there's plenty of parking on site, so you can arrive and settle in with ease.

How do we get to Pipinui Point?

Pipinui Point is a private, luxury accommodation just 30 minutes from Wellington City. We can arrange Executive Private Transport with a local driver, or you're welcome to self-drive. For something unforgettable, helicopter transfers can also be arranged.

What kitchen facilities are provided?

A fully equipped kitchenette with gas cooktop, microwave, fridge, oven, Weber BBQ, dishwasher and all cookware and utensils.

Yes. Please let our team know of any dietary requirements when you place your meal order, and we'll happily accommodate them.

Breakfast is included in your stay. For other meals you're welcome to bring your own, or order from our Eat & Drink options.

How do we order meals?

Your host will reach out a couple of weeks before your stay to help you plan and book any meals you'd like. Meals, along with any other charges, are settled after your stay.
